1. Mandatory Helmet Rule

2. Navigating the Ghat Roads
Munnar is famous for its winding mountain roads and hairpin bends. Keep to the left side of the road at all times. Do not overtake on blind curves. Use your horn during daytime on sharp bends to alert oncoming traffic.
3. Braking on Steep Descents
When riding downhill towards valleys like Mattupetty or Echo Point, use engine braking alongside your physical brakes. Apply both the front and rear brakes gently to avoid skidding. Never turn off the engine to save fuel while going downhill.
4. Weather Conditions
Munnar experiences sudden mists and heavy rainfall. If visibility drops due to fog, turn on your headlights and indicators immediately, and reduce your speed. If rain becomes too heavy, safely pull over to a designated resting area until conditions improve.
